Oncology Research

Herscu Laboratory is involved in ongoing research and development of potential pharmacological treatments in oncology.

Drug development in oncology

Herscu Laboratory, in conjunction with Whewell Biosciences, is researching molecules of interest in oncology that are derived from two different sources; naturally occuring plant and animal compounds, as well as human-derived, immune-related molecules aimed at increasing healthy and effective immune response towards cancers. As in other areas of research, the goal in oncology is developing highly targeted treatments which have good efficacy in highly differentiated patient subpopulations.

Drug targeting in oncology

Herscu Laboratory, together with PPS, is developing ways to increase effective targeting of existing cancer treatments, with a focus on refined differentiation and sub-typing of patient populations within broad diagnostic areas.
